Software Mining

Okay guys. Currently i have two trusted software that im using on my android device and laptop.

1)Pooler Cpuminer(PC)/PocketMiner(Android)
2)MinerGate(PC and Android)

Of course there are several more cpu and gpu miner like rpc miner, nicehash miner but i like these two more.

I will split guide and tutorial into two thread.
First thread(this thread) = Pooler Cpuminer(PC)/PocketMiner(Android)
Second (on bottom page) = MinerGate(PC and Android)
Lets start.

Pooler CpuMiner (minerd and stratum proxy)

I'm gonna show how to mine litcoin in this tutorial, you can apply the same exact method for other cryptocurrency such as doge and btc.
P.S... mining bitcoin using cpu/gpu is not very profitable,let say two years mining btc using cpu/gpu, you can earn much more with faucet in a year unless you have ASIC miner hardware...




NOTED: please close software that are using or increase cpu usage so that you can get maximum Hash (picture example when you run a lot of cpu consuming software). NOTE: YAYY!! means your share accepted and earn litecoin. And stratum request for restart is normal

METHOD:

Setting up Miner

• First you would need to created account on litcoinpool.org(recommended litecoin pool)
• Download Pooler CPU Miner and Stratum Proxy. Just move your mouse over the name and click it for link. Or download both file HERE as i already combined them (you just need to extract them and edit some files)
• Extract both cpuminer and stratum proxy in same folder.
• You need to created a new text format file on the extracted files (Right click>> New >> Text Document)
• Open the text file and setup your Miner by entering these code

  WHAT YOU NEED TO PUT FOR MINER COMMAND

minerd.exe --url (YOUR STRATUM POOL ADDRESS):(YOUR POOL PORT) -a scrypt --userpass (YOUR WORKER USERNAME):(YOUR PASSWORD)


EXAMPLE OF MINE

minerd.exe --url stratum+tcp://litecoinpool.org:3333 -a scrypt --userpass Riekie.1:1
• Your worker username and password can be founded on MY ACCOUNT tab after you loginto litcoinpool.org.
• As for your stratum address can be founded on HELP tab after you loginto litcoinpool.org.
• Click menubar File>> Save as >> put (Your FILE NAME).bat and change save file as to All Files and save
• Nice your miner setup is completed and you can started mining. but i prefer you to set up your stratum proxy too(you can learn about stratum proxy.. google my friends)
  

Setting up Stratum Proxy

• Download them. Link are provided above
• You need to created a new text format file on the extracted files (Right click>> New >> Text Document)
• Open the text file and setup your Stratum Proxy by entering these code

mining_proxy -o (YOUR POOL DOMAIN) -p (YOUR POOL PORT)


EXAMPLE OF MINE

mining_proxy -o litecoinpool.org -p 3333
• Click menubar File>> Save as >> put (Your FILE NAME).bat and change save file as to All Files and save
  Noted: its better that you set name file to help you identify which one is miner or stratum proxy.
• And boom you are ready. Just run your stratum proxy and miner simultaneously.
  

POOLER CPU MINER AND STRATUM PROXY VIDEO GUIDE:






PocketMiner(Android)



METHOD:

• First you would need to created account on litecoinpool.org
• Download you PocketMiner app Here or search for it on Google Play or visit their main site http://pocketminer.co.uk/
• Use your workers detail to log into the PocketMiner.
• For your Username put your worker username. Example [Riekie.1]
• For password just enter your worker password
• Your worker username and password can be founded on MY ACCOUNT tab after you loginto litcoinpool.org.
• Log in and start mining (the app will auto detected suitable thread count and nearest server for you, can be changed on setting)
  

NOTED: PocketMiner is a special apps created to mine on litcoinpool.org only for other pool you can try other mining android app such as NeoScrypt app on google play

Actually the method is pretty easy, and maybe you won't need some guide or tutorial after you visit the site. But why not.

CPU/GPU Miner steps:

1. First, you would need an account at MinerGate Site before we can proceed.
2. After that, go to DOWNLOADS located on top of the site and choose your platform
3. The site will show you the most suitable miner version for your computer or you can scroll down and see All available GUI solutions
4. If you are window users and not sure what to choose 32bit or 64 bit, just go to my computer and right click on it then choose properties. Look for your operating system type whether 32bit or 64bit.
5. Download and install GUI Miner, and log in using your MinerGate account.
6. Use smart mining(automatically mine currency that has the highest exchange rate last hours) or choose cryptocurrency that you want to mine and assign thread(depends on your cpu power) then start.
7. DONE!
   

MinerGate Mobile Miner

1. First, you would need an account at MinerGate Site before we can proceed.
2. Download the application here on Google Play
3. Run the apps and enter your log in credentials.
4. Enter, choose currency that you wanted to mine and start mining!
5. That's all. You can also see your wallet info on the other tabs
   

WEB Mining or BROWSER Mining

Mined cryptocurrency using web browser.
Warning! earning is extra slowww

1. First, you would need an account at MinerGate Site before we can proceed.
2. Go to this site HERE
3. Choose your currency and started mining.
4. DONE!
